in 1941 exiled with her family to the Altai region, 1942. to Trofimovsk in the north of Yakutia. in 1949 fled to Lithuania. in 1950 arrested and imprisoned in Suchobezvodnoye (Gorky Region) prison, 1953. exiled to Yakutsk. in 1954 entered the Omsk Medical Institute. in 1956 released from exile, 1957 returned to Lithuania. 1960 graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute. 1960-1974 worked at Laukuva hospital. He took care of exiles, collected and wrote memoirs. Was persecuted by Soviet security, in 1974 fired, service apartment taken away.
Wrote memoirs about the life of exiles, experiences in Užpoliare. They are characterized by a combination of fiction and documentary. The memoirs entitled "Lithuanian exiles in Yakutia" were first published in 1979. Russian-language self-publishing in Moscow. in Lithuania in 1988 published under the title "Lithuanians by the Laptev Sea". Translated into English as Reconciliation in 2002. printed by Chalbury, in German - "Die Litauer an der Laptewsee" 2002 printed in Huytenfeld. Life in occupied Lithuania is told in the memoirs "Native Land", written after 1979 and published in 1996-1997.
