Julija Stupnianek completed her singing studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater in 2001. (prof. Irena Laurušienė's class). in 1999 participated in the international prof. Ingeborga Wamser's seminar in Vienna, 2000. studied with the famous baritone H. Hagegordas (Sweden). Participated in G. Preobrazhenskaja's interpretation courses of Russian romances. in 2002 "Opera Island" prepared the role of Fjordiliji in W. A. Mozart's opera "All of them are like this" (dir. Jonathan Miller) at the Bornholm Summer Academy. in 2003 for the art project, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater awarded her the degree of Licentiate of Arts. J. Stupnianek - LMTA docent.
He made his debut at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater in 2000. In the role of Violetta in G. Verdi's opera "La Traviata".
in 2000 participated in the Usedom Music Festival (Germany) and St. Christopher's summer music festival in Vilnius, 2001. – at the Rostock Baltic (Germany) and Helsinki (Finland) festivals. At the contemporary music festival "Gaida" in Vilnius, J. Stupnianek participated in the production of J. Juzeliūnas's cantata "The Speech of Flowers" together with St. Christopher's Chamber Orchestra. in 2004 month of January. In the role of Liu in G. Puccini's opera "Turandot", J. Stupnianek made his debut at the Latvian National Opera.
The soloist is a laureate of many competitions. in 1999 she won the international J. Dichler competition in Vienna (III place), 2000. - at the international competition "Romansiada" in Moscow (III place), 2000 and 2001. She became the winner of V. Jonuskaitė-Zaunienė contests in Vilnius (1st place). in 2003 She became the winner of the "Opera Hope of the Year" nomination at the "Opera Havatuuriu" awards. in 2005 won 3rd place in the international competition of concertmasters of singers and pianists in Vilnius, 2005. in the Kyiv international singer competition (Ukraine) and in 2006 won the Grand Prize at the international competition for young opera soloists "Art and Education in the XXI-st Century" (Finland). in 2011 in the spring of the international forum "Musical Performance and Pedagogy", which took place in Lonigo (Italy) and Vienna (Austria), she became the Grand Prix laureate.
J. Stupnianek has prepared soprano parts by W. A. Mozart, R. Schubert, J. Haydn, etc. in oratorical pieces, chamber concerts, many songs by German, French, Italian, Russian and Lithuanian authors are sung. He often performs with the ensembles "Musica Humana", "Vilnius Arsenalas".
in 2010 sang the role of Abra in A. Vivaldi's oratorio "Judith's Triumph" prepared on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic.
The soloist has worked with conductors Saulius Sondecki, Jonas Aleksas, Juoz Domarkus, Liutaurs Balčiūnas, Martynas Staškus, Vytautas Viržonis, Modestos Pitrėnas, Sesto Quatrini, Robert Šerveniks, Donats Katkums, Algirdas Vizgirdas, Joseph Walnigs, Bernhards Sieberer and Manfred Honeckas.
Toured in Austria, Denmark, Great Britain, Poland, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, and with LNOBT - at international music festivals in Slovenia and the Italian city of Ravenna. in 2022 held recitals in Braganza Theater and Macheda Concert Hall in Portugal.
Since 2005 He teaches singing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. in 2010 conducted master classes at the Kazakh Conservatory in Alma Ata, 2022. – at the Conservatory of Braganza (Portugal).
