Biografia
Born on 05.01.1952 in Radiškė, Šilalė district.Member of the Lithuanian Photographers' Union since 1973, granted the status of an artist in 2005.1970-73 studied at Vilnius University, Faculty of History. 1973-74 worked at the Lithuanian Society of Photographic Art, 1979-81 secretary of the Vilnius branch of the Society. Since 1981 photographer at the Vilnius Cardiac Surgery Centre.
Exhibitions: participates since 1982. Has held individual exhibitions in Lithuania (Vilnius 2002, 2006, 2007, Kaunas 2004) and abroad (Novosibirsk, Russia, 1987).
Awards: 60 awards. He has been awarded Artist Photographer of the International Federation of Artistic Photography (FIAP) (AFIAP, 1992), Honored Artist Photographer (EFIAP, 1995). Diploma of the Fujifilm Euro Press Competition (1995), Golden Shot of the Lithuanian Press Photography Competition (2002).
