In 1974, he graduated from Kaunas Komsomol High School. and until 1975 studied at the Šiauliai Drama Theater Studio (directed by Aurelija Ragauskaitė).
in 1975 entered the Moscow State Theater Institute (GITIS course leader Josif Tumanovas), which he graduated in 1979. He obtained the specialty of drama and film actor. 1979 – 1980 he worked at the Kaunas Drama Theater under the direction of director To Jon Vaitkas.
Since 1980, he has studied at the Youth Theater, then at the Kaunas Chamber Theatre, and now he is an actor and director of the Kaunas Chamber Theatre.
Created more than 40 roles. Played in 6 mono performances: Just. Marcinkevich's "Heroica, or the Doom of Prometheus", L. Andreev's "Judas Iscariot" (prize for the best male role at the festival "Baltyjskij Dom" in 1997, festivals in Pilsen, Kiev, Piarn, Perm, St. Petersburg, etc.), P. "Nykštukas" by Lagerkvist (3rd prize at the festival "Monoklis" in 2001), "Contrabass" by P. Ziuskind (1st prize at the festival "Moniklis" in St. Petersburg in 2003), "Neūžauga", "Performance after performance".
Directed more than 20 plays, mostly for children.
Created several productions: F. Rablė's "Gargantiua and Pantagriuel", Jerome K. Jerome's "Three in a boat (not counting the dog)" and others.
Directed 3 documentaries: "Stay and tell", "Bloody August" and "Važiojam iš ukwato...".
Organizes poetry evenings, created several solo programs.
From 2000 to 2003, he worked at the Kaunas Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (led the opera studio and taught acting skills).
He has won "Fortūnas" prizes and diplomas, in 2006 awarded the III degree Santaka badge of honor, 2009 was awarded the prize of the Kaunas Association of Art Creators for the main roles in the performances "Lisistratė" and "Hitleris ir Hitleris".
