Lithuanian songwriter and performer, poet, guitarist, composer, radio host
In his childhood and adolescence, he learned to draw with the artist Vega Vaičiūnaitė, attended the theater studio at the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center. Urged by literary expert Assoc. Tamošaitis Regiment, 2001 entered Vilnius University, majoring in Lithuanian philology. In 2005, D. Razauskas refused to defend his thesis and dropped out of his studies.
In 2002-2004, during his studies, D. Razauskas revived the long-standing event "Philology Autumn" at the Faculty of Philology. in 2004 together with his friend Lukas Miknevičius, he organized the anniversary, the 25th "Autumn of Philology", which was attended by the most famous figures of Lithuanian literature.
Since 2002 D. Razauskas publishes his work in artistic periodicals "Literatūra ir menas", "Metai", "Naujoji Romuva", "Šiaurės Atėnai", etc. In the publication "Literatūra ir Menas" as well as in the online daily "Bernardinai.lt", D. Razauskas has published critical and review articles on the topic of contemporary music, and has prepared more than 100 LRT radio programs on musical topics.
Since 2003 actively participates in the "Poetry Spring" and "Poetic Druskininkai Autumn" festivals, organizes author's evenings in the Writers' Club. in 2004 became the winner of the "Poetry Spring" nomination "Readings per night".
He has been performing publicly as a performer since 2002. The discography includes 5 original albums, joint creative projects with Lithuanian musicians, actors, a book of poems, a book on Zen Buddhism.
in 2008 he was awarded the first Vytautas Kernagis prize for his musical and poetic activities - during the international festival "Tai - aš" he was presented with a guitar named after Vytautas Kernagis.
