Biografia
Born on 13 December 1928 in Barsukyne, Raseiniai district.Member of the Lithuanian Photographers' Union since 1970, granted the status of artist in 2005. Since 1990 member of the Union of Restorers of the Republic of Lithuania. 1952-92 worked as a draughtsman, head of the Historical Research Sector Group, photographer at the Vilnius Monument Conservation Institute, 1992-2001 photographer at the Lithuanian Art Museum. Photographer of 29 albums and books.
Exhibitions: held individual exhibitions in Lithuania (Vilnius 1968, 1989, 2000, 2002, 2006, Kėdainiai 2001, Mažeikiai 2001, Rietavas, Šilutė 2002, Birštonas 2003) and abroad (Chicago, USA, 1967, Gdansk, Poland, 2000).
