Claude Bolling was a French composer, jazz pianist, and arranger known for his collaborations with classical musicians such as Jean-Pierre Rampal, and with popular musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma and Pinchas Zukerman. He wrote music for over 100 films and TV shows, and was a pioneer in the fusion of classical and jazz music.
