Louis Spohr was a German violinist, composer and conductor. He was born on April 5, 1784 in Germany. He began playing the violin at a young age and quickly showed exceptional talent. Spohr composed many works during his lifetime, including operas, chamber music, and symphonies. He also introduced new techniques for playing the violin, such as the use of chin rest and the use of steel strings. He died on October 22, 1859.
