one of the most famous guitarists in Lithuania, who has worked with "Foje", "Katedra", "Rojaus tūzai" and other musical groups.
Rainys started playing music in 1985 in the rock band Foje. At first, Rainis had to play the bass guitar, but when Dariis Burok joined, he was given the responsibility of the solo guitar. After the activities of "Foje" stopped in 1988, Rainys moved to the heavy rock band "Katedrá". In 1990, together with the group's singer Povila Meškėla, he left "Katedra" and founded a new group - "Rojaus tūzai". He left the latter group in 1996-1998.
Rainys also helped solo musicians such as Gytis Paškevičius, Ovidijus Vyšniauskas and Andrius Mamontovas to record albums.
In 2005-2007 he assisted Jurgos Šeduikytei. On March 11, 2007, he held his first solo concert in Kaunas. Since 2011 Rainys plays in the Merlin band.
