Studied at the 7th secondary school in Vilnius, 1957. graduated from the LSSR Conservatory (tutored by Regina Senkutė, Juozas Gustaitis). 1956-1963 Kapsuko, 1963-1965 Klaipėda dramas, since 1965. Actor of the Youth Theater in Vilnius. 1976-1982 At the Vilnius Engineering and Construction Institute, he led the artistic agitation folk brigade "Šiupinys". Created characteristic, mostly comedic roles in theater, cinema and television films.
