in 1975 graduated from the Lithuanian State Conservatory (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre), prof. Olga Šteinberg's piano class. During his studies, he obtained the qualifications of a teacher of special piano subjects with prof. Jurgis Fledžinskas and Audronė Vainiūnaitė (chamber ensemble), Eugenijius Įgnatoni (piano pedagogy, methodology and practice), Virginija Dabkutė (concertmaster).
Since 1976 teaches at the Faculty of Klaipėda. He trained and improved his qualifications at the Leningrad Conservatory (now the St. Petersburg N. Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory), the German G.F. Telemann School of Music (awarded the professional qualification of a carillon player), the Latvian J. Vytuolas Academy of Music and the Polish University of Częstochowa.
Since 1964 sang in the Vilnius Boys and Youth Choir "Ažuoliukas", and after graduating from the capital's 35th secondary school, in 1973-1978 studied choir conducting at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (head teacher P. Gylios class).
During his studies, he was the choirmaster - concertmaster of the women's and men's choirs "Aidas" of the city of Vilnius. 1981-1984 deepened his conducting knowledge at the Leningrad State Conservatory of N. Rimsky-Korsakov (prof. N. Romanovsky's class). in 1984 Trained at G. F. Telemann Music School in Magderburg (Germany) (carillon class of Prof. G. Bust), 1993. Trained at Logukloster (Denmark) carillon school (prof. T. Fair's class), 1996 trained at Ammersfoort (Netherlands) carillon school (prof. J. Maassen's class).
Since 1978 - Teacher of choir conducting and other disciplines at the Klaipėda Faculty of the Lithuanian State Conservatory, since 1991. - associate professor, 1987-1990 - head of the women's choir of the part-time department of the faculty's music teacher specialty, 1989-1992. - Dean of the Faculty of Instrumental and Choral Music, since 1996. – Vice-dean of the Faculty of Arts, Klaipėda University. Raised a group of choirmasters.
1984-1989 - Head of the mixed vocal ensemble "Rhapsodija" of the Klaipėda Territorial Water Supply Board. The ensemble is a laureate of many different competitions. 1986-1993 - artistic director and conductor of the women's choir of education workers of Šilutė district. in 1987 with him, he won first place in the republican choir competition "Dainoja darbo Lietuva", participated in the 1990 Many performed at the Lithuanian National Song Festival.
