Studied at the 7th secondary school in Panevėžys. in 1981 after graduating from it, in 1982-1988 studied at the Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute Faculty of Arts.
He started his musical career in 1987. in the founded group BIX, one of the most popular Lithuanian rock music groups of all time. Sam wrote the lyrics, was the band's vocalist and guitarist. Later, he exchanged the singer's bread for the entertainment business and, together with Marijonas Mikutavičius and Martyn Starkums, hosted the youth music show "Tangomanija" and other television projects. And now sometimes appears on stage with his band BIX.
He was a participant in the LT United project, with whom he performed in the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. took 6th place.
in 2006 Saulius was in the reality show "Dangus", and in 2007 the producer of the second season - "Dangus 2".
in 2010 he produced the project "Tu gali šokti", and in 2013 - the projects "Paslapčių namai" and "Shok!". This is the judge of the TV3 talent show Lithuanian Talents.
