In 1967 he graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory (K. Kavecks' choir conducting class), in 1972 - the Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) Conservatory ((M. Paverman's symphonic conducting class). 1972-74 conductor of the Khabarovsk (Russia) Symphony Orchestra, 1974-84 of the Crimean Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Yalta Conductor of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater since 1984. Conducted in Warsaw Grand Theatre, Moscow Grand Theatre, Saint Petersburg, Kyiv Philharmonic, Tallinn, Erfurt, Netherlands, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan.
