Studied at the 39th secondary school in Vilnius, from 1985. – at J. Tallat-Kelpšas Higher Music School in Vilnius. in 1995 graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music majoring in oboe, orchestra conducting and master's degree in pedagogy. in 1992 Trained at the Mozarteum Academy of Music in Salzburg.Since 1992 worked in the National Symphony Orchestra, and since 1994 – Concertmaster of the Oboe Group of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with various chamber ensembles and as a soloist in more than 30 countries. He teaches at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, composes and arranges music of the non-academic genre.
