Since 2002 with a break he teaches animation at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, the course was introduced on his initiative at the Department of Photography and Media Art. 2003-2004 taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
in 1997 worked in Norway as a production director in the studio "Filmcameratene" for the full-length film "Guirina su lapes uodega". This film received many awards and was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Since 1993 In America, in New York, he worked for 4 years in the studio of J. Zander, the director of the legendary animated film "Tom and Jerry". At the Lithuanian Consulate, with the help of Lithuanian Consul M. Butkaus, he organized several exhibitions of Lithuanian artists in New York and Chicago. in 2002 I. Bereznickas founded the animation specialty at the Department of Media Art of the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, where he currently works as a docent.
