Marijonas Giedrys (16 March 1933 in Kaunas - 24 May 2011 in Vilnius) was a Lithuanian film director, actor and screenwriter.
Biography
Graduated from the Union Institute of Cinematography in Moscow in 1959, his teacher was director and teacher Sergei Gerasimov. 1959-1992 Director of the Lithuanian Film Studio. 1964-1968 made documentaries. Since 1987 artistic director of the creative association "LKS".
1975 Honored Artist of the LSSR. People's Artist of the LSSR in 1983[1].
Buried in Antakalnis Cemetery.[2]
