In 1981-1985 he studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, Department of Acting (course leader - Jonas Vaitkus).In 1985-1986, he worked as an actor at the Kaunas State Academic Drama Theater.In 1987-1989, he worked as an actor at the Kaunas State Academic Drama Theater.Since 1989, he has been working as an actor at the Lithuanian National Drama Theater (until 1998 – the Lithuanian State Academic Drama Theatre).Since 2005, he has been teaching at the Department of Acting Excellence of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater
