in 1975 graduated from theater directing studies at A. Lunačiarskis Theater Art Institute in Moscow. 1975-1980 worked as a director at Vilnius Youth Theater, 1980-1986. – Director of the Kaunas Drama Theater, 1988-1993. Chief director of the Šiauliai Drama Theater. 1993-1999 managed the Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre. He taught at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, Vytautas the Great University of Kaunas, and currently teaches at Klaipėda University. Scientific degree - professor. Directed more than 100 theater performances.
