Adriano Trindade lives in Berlin, Germany, and is considered the precursor of samba rock on the European continent, and one of the most important representatives of Brazilian Jazz in the world. Having performed concerts and shows in 56 countries around the world, both in jazz clubs and renowned festivals, such as Ronnie Scott in London, North Sea Jazz in Amsterdam, 38 Riv in Paris and Prague Jazz Festival in the Czech Republic, Adriano Trindade accumulates tours through the European continent where he is already performing in 2023 with the new show.
In 2008 he recorded a solo album by the German label “German Company” released in Germany, South Korea and Australia, which has its own compositions.
From August 2012 until January 2013 Adriano made a long tour in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden and Denmark, releasing their third cd, entitled “Live in Cernošice” recorded in the Club Kino in Cernošice (CZ). Trindade did 38 shows alongside the most famous jazz musicians from the center of Europe, Los Quemados Jazz, with its repertoire, a fresh and imposing blend of MPB and Jazz.

In 2015 Adriano recorded the dvd “Live in Prague” and the 4th cd of his career “Number Four”, both in Prague (Rep.Tcheca), with the support of the Los Quemados Jazz, and is played in all of Europe’s Jazz and Latin Jazz radio-stations. The dvd was released by the label Loop Records from Brazil. In 2016 Trindade visited 28 countries in Europe, 130 concerts in 97 differents towns. Countries like Latvia, Lituania, Eston, Kosovo, Bosnia and Croatia was included North Sea (Amsterdan), Ronnie Scott (London), Kongsberg Jazz Festival (Norway), Jazz Dock (Praga) Monument Jazz (Sarajevo), Mostar Jazz Festival (Mostar), Igor Butman Jazz (Moscow), Favela Chic (Paris), Glasgow Jazz Festival (Glasgow), Kotrynos (Vilnius), Alchemist Jazz (Kiev), Vladimirov Jazz (Minsk), Porec Jazz Festival (Croácia), Jazz Buffet (Sófia), plus interviews for France television, Macedonia television, Belorus television, Tchech television, and Sérvia Television.
“Balançando o Jazz” is cd number 5 in his career. This cd is followed by a second dvd “Balançando o Jazz Live”. Adriano Trindade is still touring all over Europe, and is playing at many jazz festivals and jazz clubs in countries like the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Estonia, Slovakia, Czech Republike, France, Luxembourg, Hungary, Áustria, Slovenia, Poland and Switzerland. On occasion, Adriano is accompanied on his tour by Francois Lima, the famous trombone player from Brazil.
On his latest album “A New Experience” (2022) , Trindade is collaborating with a new team of excellent musicians. Brazilian musicians of the highest calibre, such as Maestro Jota Moraes (Pianos and Arrangements), Edu Ribeiro (Drums), Paulo Calasans (Keyboards), André Vasconcellos (Bass), and other incredible musicians are joining. The compositions are all by Adriano Trindade, in partnership with other composers, such as Hugo Fattoruso, Gelson Oliveira, Tonho Crocco, Antonio Villeroy, and others.
“A New Experience” is a forward record, with samba-jazz, latin-jazz, samba-rock, shuffle, funk and bossa nova, a precious album with arrangements that celebrates the return of the brass section (sax, trombone, trumpet) in Adriano’s studio recordings. This is an album full of rhythmic changes, coupled with Adriano Trindade’s Brazilian guitar and jazz-influenced singing and improvisations. The album opens with “Malandriou”, a fast, forward-flowing samba with the swinging, percussive guitar characteristic of the Rio Grande do Sul musician. The track “Sonho de Liberdade” talks about the arrival of the Negro from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and features Jota Moraes’ unique vibraphone solo. The album closes with the bossa nova “Sempre é Tom” where German jazz singer Marie Kuhn is the special guest, singing in German a tribute to maestro Antônio Carlos Jobim.
The album artwork was designed by graphic designer Amanda Guerreiro, the photos were taken by German photographer Sunny Seelenherz and the mixing and mastering was done by renowned sound engineer Homero Lotito at São Paulo’s Reference Studio.
The new album comes along with a documentary, that is already available on YouTube (Adriano Trindade Oficial). The documentary was produced by Macabre Films and Gandolfi Filmes, recorded in Berlin(Germany) and in the state of Rio Grande do Sul(Brazil).
