In 1986-1990, he studied at the Moscow Plastic Improvisation Studio (director - Oleg Kiseliov). In 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1996, he studied the acting method of Tadashi Suzuki's drama actors at the Japan Performing Arts Center. In 1995-1996, he studied Okinawan traditional dances, Japanese language, music, karate at the Okinawa Traditional Dance Research Institute (Japan) (supervisor - H.Takamine). In 2000, he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre), majoring in directing (course director - Jonas Vaitkus). Since 1993, he has been working at the Lithuanian State Academic Drama Theater (now the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre). Since 1992, he has been teaching at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, acting and directing department (Oleg Kiseliova's and Tadashi Suzuki's acting mastery methods). In 1999, he taught at the Finnish Academy of Arts. In 2003, he participated in the educational project Nordic MA, which was organized by the Finnish Academy of Arts and the tetra "Meno fortas".
