Aleksandra Jacovskytė in 1970 graduated from the Vilnius Art Institute, Faculty of Painting (scenography specialty). 1971-76 worked in the Monuments Restoration Board, 1977-87. – on Lithuanian television. Since 1994 works at the Vilnius Gaon Jewish Museum. Since 1988 Member of the Union of Lithuanian Artists. Draws, illustrates books, photographs, designs costumes and scenography for theater, cinema and television. Created costumes for performances in Lithuanian and foreign theaters. Since 1992 organizes personal exhibitions. Since 1973 also participates in exhibitions in Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Germany (about 20 exhibitions in total). in 2009 for the costumes for V. Jevsejev's performance "Always yours. Anne Frank" (Panevėžys Juoz Miltinis Drama Theater) she was awarded the Golden Stage Cross.
