Algis Sprindžiūnas (b. 1997), who is studying for his Master's degree in Sculpture at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, exhibits ephemeral works that hover between the real and the digital, the questions of the real and the unreal in his newest installation. He is interested in the intermediate spaces of the mind based on fictitious knowledge, which often surround everyday life and form a kind of layer of conventional reality in which we get used to living. The exhibition features paintings and recent sculptural elements created over the last two years, and is extended by a virtual experience at IRGI Gallery (www.irgigalerija.lt), which reveals additional contexts of the artist's creative process.
