Trained in Venice, he began working as an assistant in theatres in Como, Bari, Savonlinna, Paris and Bilbao. In 2011 he made his debut as a set designer with The Barber of Seville in Pavia, directed by Federico Grazzini.
He also signs many productions in some of the most important theatres in Europe and Asia, including:
Pagliacci and Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro Regio di Parma, Rigoletto at the Macerata Opera Festival, Turandot at the Opera de Nice, Nabucco at the Terme di Caracalla Opera in Rome, Carmen for the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Theatre, Norma at the Theater St. Gallen, Pagliacci and Tabarro at the Korea National Opera, I due Foscari at the Verdi Festival in Parma, Xerxes for Theatre Bonn, Tosca for Opera de Nancy, Toulon and Nantes and many others.
He is ranked among the top in major international competitions with the following works:
Rigoletto for the Teatro Regio di Torino (second place), Wagner200, by AsLiCo, Opéra de Rouen Haute-Normandie and Theater Magdeburg (second and mention of the jury), EOP2013 by Camerata Nuova arriving (among the 4 finalist teams), Ring Award (14 semi-finalist teams). In 2022 he was first in the Lituanian Opera House competition.
He has collaborated with directors: Leo Muscato, Serena Sinigaglia, Federico Grazzini, Nicola Berloffa, Silvia Paoli, Italo Nunziata, Federico Bertolani.
