was born in Moscow, graduated as radiotehnician from the Moscow State College in 2002 and moved to Tallinn a year later. In 2004, he started as lighting technician. Since 2010, he works as Assistant to the Head of the Technical Department at Estonian National Opera. Anton Kulagin has been the lighting designer for the Estonian National Opera productions of Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Hindemith’s Cardillac, Händel’s Giulio Cesare, and Ábrahám’s Ball im Savoy.
