Arminas Suchovas is a young and ambitious pianist. Armin began his musical journey at the age of four in private piano lessons. At the age of six, he started studying at the J. Naujalis Music Gymnasium in Kaunas, where he graduated with the highest grades. He continues his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Zbigniew Ibelgauptas. Since 2019, he has been participating in the Kaunas Piano Fest festival-courses. He has also participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists, including Olga Kern, Fali Pavri, Lukas Geniušas and Aaron Shorr. In February-March this year Arminas Suchovas gave concerts at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, J. Sibelius Academy of Music and Jāzeps Vītols Academy of Music in Latvia as part of the Erasmus+ project Crossing Keyboards. In the summer of 2022 he gave his solo recital at a music festival in France, and often represents the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in concerts organised by the Academy. Arminas Suchovas was also selected to play at the 90th anniversary concert of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. During his career as a pianist, he has won prizes in dozens of national and international competitions. Recent achievements include grand prix at the international competition for chamber ensembles with wind instruments Muzikinė Akvarelė, grand prix at the National Concertmaster Competition in Lithuania.
