Barbora Matonytė is an artist of the young generation, whose field of creative activity is best described as the search for various sculptural expressions in the extended field, space and experimental plane. Creativity in an interdisciplinary medium is clearly distinguished by two main fields, i.e. discourses of visual art installations and sound art (soundwork), and the possibilities of their connection.The foundational component of Sound Profile's works is the human voice, exploring various vocal phenomena such as: old audio recordings, artificially generated voices and stylized expression techniques often found in heavy metal music genres.
