is a conductor and wind instrument pedagogue who settled in Estonia from the Netherlands.
Bert Langeler is a brass instrument teacher at the Viljandi Music School (since 2008) and head of the brass department, a brass instrument teacher at the Võhma Music School (since 2016), an instructor at the Võhma wind instrument studio (since 2014), a wind instrument teacher at the Tõrva Music School (since 2020) and the conductor of the Wind Orchestra of the Tõrva and Viljandi Music Schools. He has also worked as a wind instrument teacher and head of department at Zaltbommel Music School (1985-2004) and Almkerk Music School (1986-2003) in the Netherlands.
He is also a teacher of didactics of trumpet ensemble and orchestral work at the Viljandi Academy of Culture of the University of Tartu, chief conductor of the Wind Orchestra of the Republican Orchestra Leaders, conductor and teacher of the Võhma Wind Studio.
He has also worked as an instructor at the Võsu wind instrument camp in Virumaa. He conducted the joint Belgian-Estonian orchestra on the Rakvere Vallimäe concert stage, where, among other works, the Japanese "Sakura" arrangement and Pyotr Tchaikovsky's overture "1812" were performed. At the general song party in 2019, he was the head of brass bands.
