Colombian dancer Brayan Valencia was born in Bogotá, where he began studying dance at the age of sixteen at the Faculty of Arts of the Francisco José de Caldas University (Arte Danzario program). in 2015 received a scholarship to study at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in New York (USA), where he studied for three years under the guidance of such pedagogues as Gelsey Kirkland, Nikolaj Levitskyi, Vera Solovyova, Lyudmila Polonskaya and Michael Chernov. In the United States, he received scholarships for internships at the Joffrey Ballet School, the Grand Theater Ballet Academy, and the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet summer camps, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with such choreographers as Ramon Thielen. in 2017 became a member of the New York dance troupe "Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company" led by Enrique Cruz De Jesus, with whom he gained experience in modern dance performances. in 2018 joined another New York troupe, the Hudson Valley Youth Ballet (Director Ho-Shia Aaron Thao), created the lead role of the Prince in the troupe's production of Cinderella. Later she also danced with Ballet Frontier of Texas (Director Chung-Lin Tseng, 2018-2021), Ballet Concerto Texas (Director Margot Dean) and Compania Colombia de danza in Bogotá (2021-2022). in 2021 after returning to Colombia in the spring, he joined the Medellin City Ballet troupe, where he created roles in neoclassical and classical dance performances.
From 2022 January - member of KVMT ballet troupe. He participates in KVMT repertory performances as a cordballet dancer, created several solo roles: Liucė's first husband ("Altorių šēšely", chorus Aurelijs Liškauskas) and a duet dancer ("Hiccup", chorus Robert Bondara). in 2023 participated in the KVMT choreographic workshop, where together with her colleague Laura Carolina Figueroa Orduz, she created a choreographic miniature "Por quinta vez" ("Klaipėda: yesterday, today, tomorrow").
