Double bass player Dainius Rudvalis completed his master's studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, doc. V. Sereikas double bass and prof. In the classes of D. Balsytė's chamber ensemble. Later, D. Rudvalis continued his studies at the Janaček Academy of Music and Arts (Brno, Czech Republic), in the double bass class of Professor M. Jelinek, and improved himself in the master courses of many teachers, including W. Grzegorz, P. Iuga, K. Trumpf, G. Upatnieko, T. Martin et al. D. Rudvalis is a graduate and laureate of international double bass competitions.
The double bassist is constantly invited to perform with various ensembles, actively participates in various musical projects. As a soloist and participant in concert programs, D. Rudvalis performed with various orchestras, had the opportunity to work with famous conductors and soloists, including D. Geringas, G. Kremer, Y. Bashmet, M. Maiskis, etc. For several years, the performer collaborated with the Grammy award-winning chamber orchestra "Kremerata Baltica", performed with this orchestra and as the group's concertmaster, has recorded a CD with M. Weinberg's music, participated in chamber music projects with the members of this orchestra. As a member of various chamber ensembles, the double bassist has performed and participated in festivals in many countries around the world. Until 2011, D. Rudvalis worked as the deputy concertmaster of the double bass group of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. Currently, the double bassist is the concertmaster of the double bass group of the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, an artist of the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, works as a teacher, and is also a member of the ensemble "PALEASIS" and the double bass quartet "BASS_4".
