Singer Egidija Mačiulytė is a vocalist of the Vilnius Tango Theater, since the foundation of the collective in 2008. with this unique stage tango troupe, he participates in various festivals around the world, regularly organizes shows in Vilnius and international projects throughout Lithuania.
in 2015 Vilnius Tango Theater created the tango show "Lunfardo" with world-famous dancers from Argentina Carla Domínguez and Julio Seffino, bandonia master Ariel Aguilar and tango legend singer Enrique Sanfilippo and well-known Lithuanian musicians.
in 2017 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the legendary tango "La Cumparsita", concerts were organized with the stars of Uruguayan music - the director of the Montevideo Philharmonic, pianist, maestro Alvaro Hagopian and maestro Nelson Pino, who is called the best tango singer.
in 2019 Egidija, while still learning the intricacies of jazz improvisation at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, together with saxophonist, composer, arranger Leonards Pilkauskas, well-known in Lithuania, formed the international quintet "Tango in Jazz", which was decorated with his own melodies by the talented pianist Domas Žeromskas, and presented a series of concerts in which she revealed delicate, unique and very close relationship between tango and jazz.
in 2020 The premiere of the musical-literary miniature "Laiko malūnai" (Laiko malūnai) was held at the Marijampolė music park festival, combining fragments of the epic short story "Baltaragio malūnas" by Kazios Borutas and legendary Lithuanian popular music, sung poetry and melodies of world composers. In the synthesis of arts, the legendary Lithuanian film and theater actress Vaiva Mainelytė, the author of the idea, the artistic director of the festival, the pianist Eglė Kasteckaitė, the director Eglė Storpirštienė joined their creative forces with Egidija.

The vocalist expresses her broad musical horizons in various Lithuanian and international musical ensembles. Egidia's voice warms up various styles of music, so even after promising her eternal love for the tango style, the singer's heart is also wide open to flamenco, jazz, soul and popular music.
