Studied at Fričas Brīvzemniekas primary school and Āgenskalns state gymnasium. He obtained a bachelor's degree in pedagogy at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Latvia (2007). Studied directing in Krakow, PWST school (2009). He obtained a bachelor's degree in dramatic theater direction (2005) and a master's degree in theater art (2011) at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
He has staged performances at the "Dirty Deal Teatro", the M. Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, the National Theater and the Valmiera Drama Theatre. He has collaborated several times with set designer Reina Dzudzilo, costume designer Krista Dzudzilo, playwright Rasa Bugavičuti and composer Goran Gora.
Received the Gamers' Night Award in the nomination "Director of the Year" in 2014 for the plays "Ezeriņš" and "Vasarnieki" and in 2019 for the play "Pūt, vējini!". In 2015, his staged play "Antigone" received the "Small Form Play of the Year" award. In 2020, Senkov's web show "The Iranian Conference" won the "Digital Event of the Year" award. In 2021, he received the Eduardas Smilģas award.
Since August 2022, he has been the artistic director of the Latvian National Theatre.
