Opera director Gediminas Šeduikis (b. 1983) has been accompanied by classical music since childhood. Born in a family of musicians and educators, he started learning to play the piano at the art school of his native Utena. Later, he continued his piano studies at the Juoz Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory in Vilnius with Marija Radvilaitė. However, he did not link his future with this specialty, choosing to study theatrology at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (2003–2007), and then completing his master's studies in art management (2018–2020).Already during his studies, he acquired practical national work skills, acting as a miman of the Lithuanian Opera and Ballet Theater (LNOBT).
