is a prominent Lithuanian painter and graphic artist, who graduated from the Lithuanian Institute of Art in 1968.
Her work is characterized by bright colors, expressiveness and symbolism. Since 1970, she has exhibited etchings and other graphic works, mostly colored, dominated by metaphorical abstract forms, seeking to reveal the spiritual world, the connection between nature and man, the flow of time and the inner experience of man. Her works are intellectual, poetic, awakening intuitive vision and spiritual development.
She uses various techniques: oil pastel painting, oil, watercolor, acrylic, tempera, as well as various graphic techniques - etching, monotype, drypoint. Color combinations, dynamic lines, calligraphy elements prevail in her work. She has also illustrated books. Since 1977. is a freelance artist, actively participated in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad, organized many individual exhibitions in Vilnius and other cities. Her works are in the Lithuanian Art Museum, the Čiurlionis Art Gallery in Chicago, the Ludwig Museum in Cologne.
Her works are also kept in the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology, where they delight and amaze visitors with their colorfulness and symbolism
