Giedrė learned to play the kankles in Mažeikiai and Klaipėda's S.Šimkaus Conservatory, but in the third year she decided to change the kankles to the harp. He continued his studies in Austria at the Graz University of Music, later at the Paris National Conservatoire and at the Salzburg Mozarteum, which he graduated with honors. During her recent studies, the harpist won a competition to play in the Symphony Orchestra of the Polish National Radio in Katowice. She also worked as a teaching assistant at the Katowice Academy of Music. Giedrė is one of the few today's harpists who play two different instruments during one concert. "With the concert harp, she can produce brilliant passages and wide dynamics, and with the Celtic harp, she charmed the audience with a soft sound and evoked deep feelings", - this is how the press described Giedrė's performance after her solo concert in Germany. Currently, the artist lives there, performs many solo concerts, with various ensembles and orchestras. She also organizes concerts in Poland, Austria and her native Lithuania. In France, she is improving with professor G.Lorenzini.
