Miguel Ramírez and Miqui Delgado have been collaborating and sharing stages for over thirty years, during which they have co-authored several artistic projects and recordings. They have remained active to this day, sharing a common enthusiasm for creating music for their own projects and for other artists. The Canarian Local Jazz Band is a project created by Miguel Ramirez and Miqui Delgado in 2008 to promote and contribute to a wide jazz repertoire throughout its life.

They both have been collaborating & sharing the stage for more than thirty years, in which they have been set up various artistic projects & recordings jointly. Currently they remain active sharing the same dream,
in the effort to create and produce music for their own ensembles and for other artists.

In 2021 the need arose to unleash their creativity. And thus appeared “Paisajes Sonoros”, an instrumental album by ‘Música Creativa’, that features compositions by Miguel Ramírez (Mc) & Miqui Delgado (M), arranged in close collaboration between them both. The storyline of these ‘paisajes’ (landscapes) is none other than that of life itself. Everyday experiences and emotions, finding beauty even in the air we breathe, another beginning of what will continue to be this long journey. “From maturity, we stop playing the child that we carry within us, astonishing us and discovering new places in our imaginary world, one that we usually get access to in this spiritual vessel called Music. We do it with honesty and humility, obsessed, overcoming some complications to be able to enjoy and share what unites us and like so much. For us Music is Love”.

With “Paisajes Sonoros”, La Local Jazz Band goes one step further, respecting the spirit of their project, while opening a new creative path with more personality and making their own mark.
