The oboist quintet was formed in 2007 at the initiative of Robert Beinaris. The composition of the ensemble consists of two oboes, a love oboe, an English horn and a bassoon. The members of the ensemble are laureates of national and international competitions, work in various Lithuanian collectives, and are also engaged in pedagogical activities. It is difficult to find an analogue of such an ensemble not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. The quintet performs music from various eras, from baroque to contemporary music. A large part of the repertoire consists of various adaptations arranged by composer VaidacStriaupaitė-Beinarienė and oboist Robertas Beinaris. The first - debut concert of the ensemble took place on May 16, 2007 at the house of Stasioc Vainiūnas. Further, the ensemble organizes various programs in Lithuanian cities and abroad, cooperates with prominent Lithuanian soloists.
In 2008, the oboe quintet won 1st place in the VIII International Competition "Music without Borders".
