Ieva Baublytė graduated from the Early Music Institute of the Basel Academy of Music "Schola Cantorum Basiliensis" (Switzerland) majoring in longitudinal flute (class of Prof. K. Bopp), learned to play the Gothic harp (with Prof. H. Rosenzweig and M. Fujimura), acquired the Early Music diploma. She also volunteered in Buenos Aires (Argentina) with the organization "Points Cœur" and studied at the Philanthropos Institute in Friborg (Switzerland), where she obtained a diploma in anthropological studies from the institute.
Ieva Baublytė trained in longitudinal flute master courses in Spain, France, Switzerland, Lithuania with prof. Pedro Memelsdorf, Pierre Hamon, Rodrigo Calveyra, Mutsuyuki Motomura, also took part in improvisation courses with Jean Tubery on the island of Corsica (France).
The performer regularly performs with the choir and consort "Brevis", the ensemble "Chiaroscuro" and other ensembles. She also conducts educational classes about Renaissance and Baroque music at the Palace of the Rulers of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, organizes an educational event in St. Cecilija's early music festival and master classes for children and young people, and also teaches flute at the Bali Dvarionas ten-year music school in Vilnius.
