Contemporary dance dancer and creator Ieva Navickaitė was born in Kaunas in 1991. Graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, USA with a degree in contemporary dance and visual arts. After her studies, Ieva worked with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel, Aura Dance Theater in Lithuania, Cienfuegos Danza in Spain, Reut Shemesh Company in Germany, Jerome Meyer, Lillian Barbeito (Bodytraffic Company) in Los Angeles and other independent creators and choreographers. Currently, Ieva works as a dancer and choreographer's assistant in the "Van Huynh" troupe, and also teaches and creates individually.
