is one of the brightest Lithuanian violinists of the young generation. Ieva was born in Vilnius, at the age of five she started learning to play the violin and at the age of six she was playing as a soloist with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. Ieva is an artist and social media developer for global companies GEWA and LarsenStrings. As a soloist and chamber music artist, Ieva performed in many European countries, India, China, performed solo with St. Kristoforos, Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, Wiener Mozart Orchestra, Imperial Philharmonie, Junge Philharmonie, Orpheus Orchestra.
The violinist studied in Vienna, Austria under the renowned Pavel Vernikov at the Vienna City University of Music and Arts and Johannes Meissl, a member of the Artis-Quartett at the Vienna University of Music and Visual Arts.
Ieva is invited to be a concertmaster in various projects. Her performances were broadcast by ORF, Ö1 in Austria, Radio France and Lithuanian National Radio and Television. Ieva collaborated with such composers as K. Penderecki, F. Cerha and the modern music ensemble "Platybus".
Ieva participated in such international classical music festivals as "MUSIQUE AUX QUATRES HORIZONS" (France), "Wien Modern", "Steirisches Kammermusik Festival", "ISA Festival" (Austria), "Holland Music Sessions" (Netherlands), "Accademia e Festival" Internazionale di Musica di Cagliari (Italy), Academie-villecroze (France), National Young String Quartet Weekend in the UK, European Parliament (Brussels) and the famous Wigmore Hall (London).
Ieva is a performer with Sir Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now organization. From 2021 she is invited to perform with the Bühneorchester of the Vienna Opera. From 2022 August Ieva is the concertmaster of the "Wiener Mozart" orchestra. In December, she made her debut as a soloist in the famous Wiener Musikverein Goldene Saal. Ieva Pranskutė was also a member of the orchestra "Kremerata Baltica" led by the distinguished violinist Gidon Kremer, with whom she toured three continents.
As an active violinist performing in Austria, Ieva Pranskutė received a special award from the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Vienna for promoting Lithuanian culture internationally. Ieva has also received thanks from the Lithuanian Presidency for her international awards and achievements.
