Born in Tallinn, Estonia.
After becoming an electrical engineer, he continued his studies and graduated from the Light design Oslo, Norway course in 1998 and the Light design London, U.K. in 1999.
Since 2000 he has been a lighting designer at the Estonian Russian Theater in Tallinn, and since 2010 also a lighting designer at the Latvian National Theater in Riga. In addition, he was invited as a lighting designer to performances in Moscow, Alma-Ata, St. Petersburg.
