The leader of the dance group, Indrė Alaburdienė, is a true veteran of the Ensemble, having started dancing in the Ensemble back in 1992, and then in 2002. took over the helm of the leader. Leader Indrė grew up with the Ensemble from a young age, went to rehearsals with her grandmother, choreographer Tamara Kalibataite, observed and admired the stubborn and talented students, and dreamed of one day being in their place. Her love for dance and the Ensemble led her to the position of leader, and the accumulated experience, unfading enthusiasm and professionalism led to the students' unwavering love and great respect not only for her, but also for the entire Ensemble. The leader, or as the students warmly call her, the Leader, is extremely charismatic, motivating and proactive. Therefore, rehearsals with the leader Indre are always exceptional. When leading them, she not only teaches technical subtleties, but also pays great attention to mood, thoughts and feelings. She shares experiences and memories of rehearsals and surviving lessons led by the long-time leader of the Ensemble's dance group, Tamara Kalibataitė. When staging dances, she teaches not only steps, but also tells the story of the dance itself, its subtext, and the peculiarities of the emergence and creation of dances and movements.
