Great music, pedagogy and writing, is one of the most important vectors of the musical performance of the baroque musette. As a soloist in prestigieuze ensembles (Het Orkest van de XVIIIe Eeuw, Les Arts Florissants, Le Concert des Nations, Les Agréments, Le Coin du Roi, Chicago Symphony Orchestra…) and as a chamber musician heeft hij in the most vermaarde concertzalen opgetreden. Hij heeft de very first musetteklas opgericht (Brussel 1989) and the instrument also in the higher muziekonderwijs geïntroduceerd (Leuven University College of Arts – Campus Lemmens 1999). As a doctor in the arts, he has the largest study written over the Musa family and also published in various European literary works.'
