In 2017 Julija Stankevičiūtė graduated from the Ballet Department of the M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (teacher Beatričė Tomaševičienė). In 2016 she trained with the Ballet du Rihn (France) ballet company and participated in the production of P. Tchaikovsky's ballet "The Nutcracker" (chor. I. Cavallari). In that same year she also trained at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (the Netherlands).
The ballerina participated in international competitions: in Grasse (France) she won gold medal and jury prize for best performance; in 2016 at the Gamar Almaszadeh classical and folk dance competition in Baku (Azerbaijan) she won 1st place and special jury prize. In 2018 during the LNOBT Soloists of the Year Awards, she was named the Ballet Hope of the Year. As of 2017 Julija Stankevičiūtė has been a member of LNOBT‘s ballet company; in 2018 she became a soloist.
