a famous Japanese pianist who has won awards in international competitions: in 2021, Junna became the winner of the Steinway competition in Germany, and at the 16th Chopin competition, where the performer earned a diploma, her performance was highly praised by piano legend Martha Argerich.Junna actively performs in Europe and Japan. She was invited to perform at the Musikverein in Vienna to mark the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt's birth, and performed recital programs on NHK-FM radio "Recital Nova", which were broadcast throughout Japan. As a soloist, Junna has appeared with the Tokyo City, Nagoya, Kanazawa Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as with the Central Aichi and Kyushu Symphony Orchestras. Junna regularly organizes solo programs with which she appears in various European and Asian cities, such as Vienna, Salzburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Warsaw, Frankfurt, Antwerp, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait, Cairo, Beirut, Tehran and Tunisia.
In 2015 Junna recorded her debut album "J First" and in 2018 her second album "J Second", which was produced and released by "Nippon Acoustic Records". The pianist is also a teacher at "Bösendorfer Imperial Masterclass Series" in Tokyo and "Piano Academy Online" in Germany and Japan. Her students regularly win prizes in international competitions, and Junna has won the best teacher prize in an international competition in Graz, Austria.Junna studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts, and later was delegated by the Japanese Ministry of Culture to the Vienna University of Music and Fine Arts, where she completed her master's studies with prof. Jan Jiracek von Arnim.
