The pianist, originally from Marijampolė, held her first hour-long piano recital when she was just seven years old at St. Cecilia's high school student in teacher A. Radzevičienė's piano class. An alumna of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (E. Jurkevičiūtė's class), she obtained a bachelor's degree at the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar (Prof. G. Gruzman). At the Academy of Higher Music in Zagreb, as a student of the Erasmus+ program, she studied for one year with Prof. R. Dalibaltayan, and today he is happy with his master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (Prof. J. Stančul).
Twice awarded by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė for services to Lithuania, the pianist is the laureate of seventeen international and national solo and chamber music competitions, a recipient of the Richard Wagner Bayreuth Community, Deutschland Stipendium and Ernst von Siemens scholarships. The ambitious pianist is the artistic director of Marijampolė Philharmonic Society, co-founder of the international classical music festival "Kultūros Savaitė". The pianist has shared the stage with such world-famous musicians as Martha Argerich, Arcadi Volodos, Elisabeth Leonskaja, and is also an active chamber music performer who has worked with Camilla Nylund, James Rutherford and Steven Mead. Kamilė Zaveckaitė has performed with Jenaer Philharmonie, Brixen Classics, Kent Philharmonic, Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra and Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra. In 2022, he made his debut at the famous ORF - Radiokulturhaus in Vienna, in the same year he won the main prize at the Kaunas Piano Fest festival - a solo performance with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra at the Vilnius Philharmonic. From 2023, Kamilė became an artist of the Japanese piano company YAMAHA.
