Karina Novikova in 2011 graduated from directing bachelor's studies at Klaipėda University. He also studied classical vocals at this university. in 2016 he improved his knowledge at the National Opera Studio in London and did internships in Germany, Holland and Switzerland.
in 2011 K. Novikova directed Henry Purcell's opera "Didone and Aeneas" at the Klaipėda State Music Theater, and in 2012 led the Lithuanian team (soloists of the Klaipėda State Musical Theater) in the international joint cultural workshops of the southern Baltic region in Poland and Sweden. From 2020 works as an assistant director of the Klaipėda State Musical Theater.
He directed and produced the production of A. Strindberg's play "Miss Julie" in London and the production of E. Lonesco's play "King Dies" in Klaipėda. He also directed M. Lane's play "The Plan - love story" in Leicester, England and J. Sebastiani's opera "Pastorello Musicale" in the Palace of the Lords, as well as the programs "Mozart lies on the ground" and "Opera in Jazz" in Raseiniai. in 2017 K. Novikova worked as an assistant director at Knighton Opera, Opera Holland Park in England and the Dutch National Opera, and in 2018 founded an international residency program for young opera singers.
