In 1980, he graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory (E. Balsis class). 1979–80 concertmaster of the Čiurlionis School of Arts. 1980–83 music editor of Lithuanian television. 1993–2018 teacher at Vilnius Ģžuoliukas Music School (head teacher since 1998). Since 1983, Čiurlionis School of Arts teacher, concertmaster.
