Laura Budreckytė – singer and composer, she was born and grew up in Birštonas resort – jazz mecca of Lithuania. Laura used to be laureate and winner in many local competitions in her childhood.
She has studied jazz vocal with S.Sasnauskas and graduated from Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) with a master degree in 2014. In 2010 Laura also has studied jazz vocal in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn.
In 2012 she has won 1st prize and best free programme prize at the international “Jazz voices” competition in Klaipėda, Lithuania and in 2013 – Grand Prix at the competition “Riga Jazz Stage” in Riga, Latvia. She has performed in many international jazz festivals including Pori Jazz (Finland), Birmingham (UK), Gorlitz (Germany), Riga Jazz Stage, Daugavpils (both Latvia) and in many jazz festivals in native Lithuania.
She was teaching singing in Vilnius Kolegija from 2014 till 2018.
Since 2018 she is a director of music play at Russian drama theatre in Vilnius.
In 2018 she has released first album “CinAmono” with band under the same name as CD and LP and created music role at “The Meet(ing)” performance with Low Air urban dance theatre.
Since 2018 she has also started music theraphy studies at common programme of Vilnius University and LMTA.
In 2013 Laura co-founded CinAmono.
