Laura Vaišnorė became interested in painting five years ago. Participation in various summer plein-air workshops has made painting an integral part of her life, and landscapes the main genre of her work. This has led her to take a more active interest in art and to graduate with a Master's degree in Art History from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2024. Although most of her paintings are painted in Lithuania: in Panemune, in the surroundings of Utena district, in Pažaislis Monastery, in Trakai, and on the Lithuanian seaside, she often travels with her paintbrushes and an easel to other parts of the world. She has painted on a beach in Mexico and in the African Sahara. She is most attracted to the role of the "travelling artist", where freedom, curiosity and the exploration of new places are intertwined.
