Biografia
The art of flamenco attracted me in 2003 and ... fascinated me! I immediately knew it was "mine". I started learning it in Vilnius, with one of the first flamenco teachers in Lithuania, Beatričė Tomaševičienė. The desire to improve led to private studies in foreign countries with excellent teachers: Marianna Verdecia, Gabriela Gutarra, Claudio Javarone, Beatriz del Pozo. These teachers encouraged me to delve more seriously into the world of flamenco. I continued to improve in invited flamenco masters (Clarisa di Salvo, Soledad Gomez, Chua Alba, Sebastian Sanchez, Javier Gomez, etc.) and professional movement (Daniel Lepkoff - contact improvisation, Brenda Naso - Laban movement analysis, etc.) workshops.
I graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, majoring in viola. The acquired teacher's qualification, stage experience and musical knowledge are very useful for me today in teaching dancing, creating compositions, understanding flamenco music and conveying the intricacies of flamenco rhythm to others.
in 2014 I graduated from IBMT (Institute of Integrated Bodywork and Movement Therapy) (founded by Linda Hartley, England). While studying, I was surprised how new knowledge helps to improve in dance, expands the possibilities of the physical body that everyone has.
Therefore, I decided to integrate the knowledge of a body therapist acquired during my studies into flamenco dance, in order to reveal more perfect and free movement. Getting to know your body, its feeling and expression is related to improvement not only in dance, but also in everyday life.
